My passion in life is working with children and capturing their love and excitement for life with my camera. Sessions are never boring as we play games, jump and try to touch the sky, or engage in a game of tag. I believe capturing children doing the ordinary things allows their personalities to shine and they quickly forget they’re having their pictures taken.
I’ve traveled the world, camera in hand, and my photography has helped me share my experiences with others. My most prized photographs are of the children I’ve worked with in the orphanages, remote villages, and homes for sick children in South America, China, Thailand, and the Philippines.
I was born and raised in Western Nebraska with 13 other siblings, (I’m the oldest). I’m able to incorporate my vast knowledge of children with my photography to capture the intimate emotions and personalities of the children I photograph.
